Training Process
Shepherd Healthcare Group provide an extensive training programme to all it’s carers and nurses, mapped to the care certificate. All training is delivered in house by our dedicated training team to ensure all staff are equipped to provide excellence in care.
Training Process
3 Day Induction
All Carers and Nurses complete a rigorous 3 day induction, mapped to the care certificate, for which on successful completion are awarded the care certificate.
Complex Care Training
Further training is provided for complex care packages, delivered by our Specialist Nurses
Specialist Training
Delivery of specialist subject areas to meet our clients' individual needs
Staff Development
Annual refresher training and further courses offered to develop employee CPD
Apprenticeships
Career progression and development of clinical skills through fully funded apprenticeships, open to all Shepherd Healthcare Group employees.
